A CNC router is a computer controlled shaping machine. These are related to the hand held router. Instead of hand held routing, the tool paths can be controlled via computer numerical control. The most common G Code Controller of CNC Routers is Mach 3 It is a computer-controlled machine for cutting various hard materials, such as wood, composites, aluminum, steel, plastics, and foams. Our CNC router systems consist of a motorized XYZ router table, a control unit, computer, and programming software. The advantages gained from using a CNC router are the same for most applications that were previously completed by hand: greater accuracy and faster cycle times. This type of automation has a high repeatability, and thus greatly increases a manufacturer's yield and consistency.
CNC automation enables to design a part on PC, and then reproduce that design quickly and easily using the router. There are three basic steps to this process. First, a computer image is generated, typically through a CAD program. Second, a CAM program translates the geometry of the CAD drawing and cutter compensations to output a toolpath. And lastly, the toolpath is converted to a manufacturing programming language (i.e., G-Code) used to communicate with the CNC router to produce the part.

Mach3 works on most Windows PC’s to control the motion of motors (stepper & servo) by processing G-Code. Our CO2 laser tube (carbon dioxide laser) is a laser based on a gas mixture as the gain medium, which contains carbon dioxide (CO2), helium (He), nitrogen (N2), and hydrogen (H2), water vapor and/or xenon (Xe). Its electrically pumped via a gas discharge, which operated with DC current. Nitrogen molecules are excited by the discharge into a metastable vibrational level and transfer their excitation energy to the CO2 molecules when colliding with them.
Helium serves to depopulate the lower laser level and to remove the heat. Other constituents such as hydrogen or water vapor can help to reoxidize carbon monoxide (formed in the discharge) to carbon dioxide. Our CO2 lasers emit at a wavelength of 10.6 μm. We use average powers between 40W to 200W. The power conversion efficiency as well as above 10%, i.e., it is higher than for most lamp-pumped solid-state lasers, but lower than for many diode-pumped lasers. Our lasers are compact and rugged, and have reach operation lifetimes of several thousands of hours. Our laser machines have high powers and high drive voltages, that is require using them properly to prevent serious body damages or even death. However, their long operation wavelength makes them relatively eye-safe at low intensities.
